The central, most-visited portion of the garden features almost-flat, easy walking and is wheelchair accessible. A wheelchair is available at the front gate. Please telephone to reserve. There is a wheelchair accessible toilet

 

 

Toilet facilities are situated between the Front Gate and the Café, just off Frank Mappin Drive. They include a separate toilet that is wheelchair accessible.

 

 

The Eden Garden Café, set in idyllic garden surroundings, is only a few steps from the Gatehouse and is open seven days a week except for a short break at Christmas.

 

 

Rainy day? No problem. We have supersized umbrellas that will keep you dry between the Gatehouse and Café, or on a garden tour.

Auckland's famous Explorer Bus stops at Eden Garden every hour during the summer on its tours of Auckland City. The service runs from 16th October to 13th April, The route to Eden Garden is part of the Explorer Bus satellite service which connects to the main tour at Auckland Museum. Eden Garden redefines the Internet Cafe. There is free Wireless Internet Service available in the cafe, in both meeting rooms and at umbrella-sheltered outside tables close to the cafe.
